Position Summary:
Ledgent is partnering with a firm located in the Denver Tech Center that is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager on a contract basis to oversee the full AR lifecycle, lead a small team, and drive process improvement across the function. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic oversight and active involvement in daily AR activities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AR, proven leadership in managing AR functions, and proficiency with NetSuite ERP.

This role is targeting an immediate start and will be a contract position lasting 2-3 months. Work will be completed fully on-site at the client's office in the Tech Center

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and participate in day-to-day AR operations including billing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage and mentor the AR team, setting goals, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all AR processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline AR workflows and improve efficiency, accuracy, and cash flow.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor aging reports, perform risk assessments, and ensure timely collections.
  • Prepare and present AR performance metrics and reporting to leadership.
  • Support month-end close activities and audits as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong working knowledge of NetSuite is required.
  • Proven track record of improving AR processes and implementing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
